Bernd Heinrich Wilhelm von Kleist (German:[ˌhaɪ̯nʁɪçfɔnˈklaɪ̯st]ⓘ; 18 October 1777 – 21 November 1811) was a German poet, dramatist, novelist, short story writer and journalist.
